To be optimistic, I faith in the new coming government's economic team that it can overcome the crisis affecting people in all walks of lives. An important key to success of this government might be how they can focus mostly on what they need to solve, not whom they hurry to help, like Mr. Thaksin.

Cynically, I hope the would-be prime minister, firstly, set her personal aim to enhance and refine her English to an extent of what any prime minister should have.

As far as I am concerned, the idea of "de-valuing Thai Baht" is probable to make Thailand's economy depend far more on export than it does at the moment, and I do see that as a truly tempolary way to solve the problem because the crisis may return whenever the export gets stuck.

I joined this forum to vent my frustration at the utter corruption that exsist's in Thailand in all sectors especially the legal system and the Military dictatorship that has never allowed the true people of Thailand the chance to run their own country.
Get out corruption among Police, Lawyers and previous Military dictatorship and allow true leadership from the first ever woman prime minister without provocation.
De-value the Thai Baht and allow the poor people the REAL people of Thailand the chance they deserve to even compete in there own country.
History has been made in Thailand today so let it mean something to everyone.
