Cockfighting Friends

Despite the current border conflict, hundreds of Cambodians continue to cross the border into Thailand to visit the Chong Sa-ngam market in Si Sa Ket. Aside from socialising and shopping, cockfighting tournaments are also hugely popular. A large number of participants are Thai and Cambodian soldiers who assert that cockfighting is an excellent way of maintaining close ties between the two countries. Video by Jetjaras Na Ranong.
