Big quake could bring disaster, expert warns

BANGKOK - A powerful earthquake like that in Myanmar on Sunday morning could bring about another mega-disaster, National Disaster Warning Council chairman Smith Dharmasaroja warned on Monday.

Mr Smith said a 6.8-magnitude quake in the region could inflict serious damage to areas in Thailand,  and even cause another devastating tsunami.
