Thailand’s self-exiled former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra says the future of relations between Southeast Asia and India relations is bright and prosperous.

“Both regions have laid a strong foundation for increasing trade ties. What the governments need to do is to keep encouraging people to move on the same path,” he said while speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit over the weekend.
