New Zealand target rugby Sevens record

- +

New Zealand can become the first team to win the same leg of the International Rugby Board Sevens World Series for a fourth consecutive time when the South African round takes place in Port Elizabeth.

New Zealand's Dj J Forbes (L) shrugs off the tackle of Samoa's Reupena Levasa during their IRB Sevens World Series match in Dubai on December 1. Samoa won 26-15 but the Kiwis will be looking for a return to form when the South African round takes place in Port Elizabeth this weekend.

No other team has achieved this feat since the tournament started in 1999.
