Hong Kong to host Premier League's Asia Trophy

Hong Kong is to host next year's Barclays Asia Trophy, which is held every two years as a preseason tournament for the Premier League, the city's football association said Wednesday.

"The Premier League is happy to confirm its intention to hold the 2013 Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong Kong," the Hong Kong Football Association said in a statement on behalf of the Premiership.
