Serbia beat Australia at the Hopman Cup despite world number one Novak Djokovic suffering a shock defeat at the hands of Bernard Tomic on Wednesday.

Bernard Tomic of Australia reacts after defeating Novak Djokovic of Serbia after their eighth session men's singles match on day five of the Hopman Cup tennis tournament in Perth on January 2, 2013.

It was Djokovic's first defeat on Australian soil since 2010, with the Serbian aiming for his third straight Australian Open title in Melbourne later this month.
