China orders media crackdown

BEIJING - China closed the website of a leading reformist magazine on Friday and ordered a crackdown on "irregular practices" by media outlets.

Yanhuang Chunqiu magazine said on its microblog account that its website, www.yhcqw.com, was "suddenly cancelled" for unspecified reasons after orders by government departments.

The website's homepage was redirected to a "visit refused" page with a message saying the site had been shut down for failing to register with police and commercial authorities.

That's the problem in a corrupt government. Simply what you read about China especially positive are not necessarily true or correct. China is right now in a paranoid state characterized by illogical thinking processes and generalized suspicion and distrust, with a tendency toward persecutory ideas or delusions.

Strange how Western Governments that constantly snivel about alleged human rights violations in other countries never thought of the idea of not trading with those countries. Guess they wouldn't want morality to get in the way of corporate profits.

China can develop financially all it wants but until it deals with its past it will always have to resort to suppression of the truth and deceiving its citizens .Tibet is a treasure to show the world not a dirty little secret to pillage .

Sounds like something the Nitirat group did in Thailand and was not only ignored by government, but threatened and attacked both in the media and physically.

Anyway China is a neo-fascist state masquerading as a socialist people's republic.

As everywhere in the world, the flow of information is the biggest threat to those in power who fear/loathe people being able to see and hear differently.
