Japan, Thailand ties get boost

PM Abe visits, reaffirms Dawei port investment

Japan has reaffirmed its policy to strengthen economic cooperation with Thailand including joining Bangkok and Myanmar in developing the Dawei deep-sea port.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra made the announcement after holding talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Government House last night.

    Under the capable leadership of YS, heads of states of US, China and Japan are here to promote relations with Thailand and to meet with HM.

    Under the pretentious leadership of AV and the junta, the world leaders avoided Thailand like a pariah state.

    By now, it is obvious that the PT government is recognized both internally by the majority of Thais, and externally by the world.
