Briton faces verdict over Bali cocaine ring

A British man accused of involvement in a drugs trafficking ring on the Indonesian resort island of Bali faces a verdict and sentence on cocaine possession charges Tuesday.

Lindsay June Sandiford (L) covers her face as fellow Briton Julian Ponder (R) testifies during Sandiford's trial at a court in Denpasar on the Indonesian resort island of Bali on November 28, 2012. Ponder faces a verdict and sentence on cocaine possession charges Tuesday.

Julian Ponder, 43, is linked with Lindsay Sandiford, a British grandmother who was condemned to death last week for her part in what authorities described as a "huge international syndicate".
