This article does not explain the current scenario. The fact is - people want capital punishment for Abdul Quader Mollah and all other accused war criminals of the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. Thousands of people are protesting in Shahbagh (Center of Dhaka City). This protest has spread all over the country and even all over the world (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_Shahbag_Protest ). This article failed to capture about what is happening in Bangladesh right now.
On February 5, 2013, after the verdict was given against Kader Molla by the Bangladesh International Crimes Tribunal to given him life in prison, a movement began at the Shahbag intersection in the heart of Dhaka city to demand the death penalty for Kader Molla. Since February 5, 2013 thousands have gathered at Shahbag demanding that they will not leave until Molla receives capital punishment. Bangladeshi expats around the world have also expressed their solidarity with this movement, including Bangladeshis living in Thailand.
