Ratree: Pawn in a political game

Thai Patriots Network activist Ratree Pipattanapaiboon claims she and a fellow activist, detained in Cambodia for spying, were mere pawns in a political ploy.

She also claims she has been subject to intimidation in a bid to silence her criticism of the former Democrat government. Ratree made her remarks Thursday during a meeting with the Senate committee on human rights, liberty and consumer protection.

The committee was inquiring about living conditions inside the Prey Sar prison of Phnom Penh, where Ratree was held for more than two years.

"She assumes it was the result of improved relations between the Yingluck Shinawatra government and Phnom Penh."
At least another yellow PAD has waken up to accept the reality.

She may be complaining that she's a political pawn but in reality she's a convicted criminal.

Ratree and everyone who was involved in that war inducing scheme, including the mastermind on the other end of the line, should be tried for treason here in Thailand.

I hope she is happy to be back in Thailand among people she thinks are of good class.

"while inspecting a disputed border area...."

These PADites were not inspecting anything. They were engaged in political initiatives designed to accomplish PAD agenda's. Weird as they might be.

Also, there was not, or is there a 'border dispute'. These PAD machinations do not create such a thing. The PADites are just hoping for it, but reasonable people know the game they play. It was their agenda to create a 'border dispute' but it hasn't worked. Only in their own fevered imaginations.

Ms. Y and Company are just humoring them along.

This woman is certainly not a patriot, she is only an embarrassment for her own country.

She claims an unnamed soldier phoned a friend who then told her that she shouldn't sue the government for failing to do its duty.
She admitted that they were in Cambodia at the time but now retracts that story and insisted the area where Cambodian soldiers arrested them was in Ban Nong Chan village of Khok Sung district of Thailand's Sa Kaeo province.
How did the Cmabodian soldiers come to be in Thailand especially when her co-defendant insisted that they were in Cambodia? Or was this just another white lie or honest mistake?

Pawns in a political ploy is not why they were jailed.

The PADs may think: "The enemy (PT) of my enemy (Dems) is my friend".

United because both have been stabbed in the back by the Dems, we may soon see Limtongkul inviting TS for Bak Kut Teh reunion dinner in Singapore, and a dramatic turnaround where the reds and yellows start declaring their love for each other.

That's not too bad, because an orange shirt (red + yellow) will look pretty cool... especially since Chinese New Year is just 2 days away.

    Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone.

She is a walking nightmare for Prachatipad Party, especially, when its current incumbent BKK Governor is trailing the PTP's candidate badly. If Cambodia releases Khun Veera a few days before the election day, it will seal the deal for PADs in favor of PTP. Kind of one-two punch right at the glassy chin of Prachatipad! With friend like Prachatipad, who need enemy!
