I agree with Post 21 that he denied till the last minute at least they should not make any conclusion rashly.Something is fishy in this case which involves political intention. China violates the human right by broadcasting the execution process on CCTV for 2 hours. An affront to human dignity, no matter what they have done, they are not animals in a zoo.
This is a milestone in China punishing forces for harming Chinese people.

No it is not that simple. NK got executed so his associate officials in China, Myanmar, Lao and Thai are feeling good for their safety. As usual the remnants but crucial criminals still escape unscathed. Seems to be a proof of Asian Value.

If you take a life (kill), you must forfeit your life (be killed). Good for China--it shows more sense than other nations. It is time the nations of the world restore the death penalty for murder.

The joys of irrational, wilfully ignorant and knowingly unjust drug laws.

These murders, like most of the harm to society from drug use, is a result of bad policy which benefits and encourages official corruption and mafia groups. Presumably, this is why so many Thai officials and politicians refuse to listen to reason, facts or justice when it comes to drugs and the great harm they do to society.

NK denied the allegation till his last minutes. Most MM people in border area believe that
the orchestrated opera tends to satisfy Chinese citizen especially the victim' families. The
transparency over Chinese court ruling also considered questionable. Wait folks! No
reasons to defend the gruesome crime but who does ensure the execution would bring
justice? There always is a hole for dripping oil so other associates might find that hole.

NK and the others in Chinese custody were executed, whilst his Thai partners suffered a similar fate. They were moved to the dreaded inactive post. Severe deterrent indeed.

So, is it Nor Kham or is it Naw Kham?

    Thailand is a drug free.

NO surprise here... China does NOT fool around, is NOT reluctant to execute and WILL send a strong message to those who kill Nationals.

Haviung said that, I agree with posters (D@4) who find the involvement of Thai soldiers 'fishy' and potentially disturbing... we've got a long way to go to clean-up the Golden Triangle!

If Thailand considers these trials to have been open and fair, well then...send those Thai soldiers to China to get their own fair trials.

Something is fishy about the whole story. And I do not mean the fishermen.
