TAIPEI - A Taiwanese news station has apologised for airing footage of Queen Elizabeth II while reporting the death of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

CTi Cable flashed a headline of "Margaret Thatcher Dies of Stroke" and showed two clips of the queen shaking hands with the public. The station apologised Monday night after viewers criticised the station for failing to distinguish between the women.
