Takanashi wins record 14th ski jumping World Cup event

Japanese teenage sensation Sara Takanashi won a record 14th World Cup event on Saturday as she gears up for a tilt at the gold medal in next month's Sochi Olympics.

It was the fifth victory of the season for the 17-year-old, who soared in Sapporo to collect a total of 254.5 points after jumps of 99.0m and 94.5m.
