Dozens killed in terror attack in China's Xinjiang: Xinhua

Chinese police shot dead dozens belonging to a knife-wielding terror gang in Xinjiang, state media said Tuesday, in the latest bout of violence to rock the far western region home to the mainly Muslim Uighur minority.

"A gang armed with knives and axes attacked a police station and government offices" in Shache county early Monday, the official Xinhua news agency said citing local police.
