Former lawmakers accused of misconduct for attempting to amend the charter began showing up to acknowledge charges at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) yesterday.

Forty-two of them appeared at the NACC office yesterday, the first day of the 15-day period in which the accused have been told to report to hear charges.

The NACC has charged 308 ex-MPs and senators for proposing and passing the charter amendment draft on the composition of the Senate.
