White-shirt supporters in the Sukhumvit area on Friday pleaded with anti-government protesters to end their campaign and puts their reform agenda to a popular vote on Feb 2.

Ms Gan, a Thonglor resident who did not wish to give her surname, said many Bangkokians were now fearing for their lives as protests have been prolonged and ultimatums repeatedly made.
