An anti-government protest guard was injured by a bullet at Lat Phrao intersection shortly before Saturday midnight but is in a stable condition in hospital.
Somsak Pannoppa, 54, a resident of Songkhla, was shot in the back while he was guarding an entrance of the rally site at Lat Phrao. He was rushed to a hospital where his condition was declared stable. He is a guard for the anti-government protesters under the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC).
Phahon Yothin police rushed to the scene but only saw a pool of blood.
