Hua Hin bombing suspects also charged with murder

PHETCHABURI - The Military Court of the 15th Military Circle on Tuesday approved additional charges of murder and attempted murder against three suspects in the August Hua Hin bombings.

The request, accompanied by new evidence, was filed by deputy police chief Srivara Ransibrahamanakul, who is overseeing the investigation into the bomb attacks and arson in six southern provinces and Prachuap Khiri Khan's Hua Hin district on Aug 11-12. Four people were killed and 35 injured during the wave of attacks.

In Hua Hin, two bombs exploded at a beer bar and spa and two more near the Hua Hin clock tower on Aug 12, resulting in two dead and 17 injured, including foreign nationals.

The Military Court in Phetchaburi earlier approved arrest warrants for Ruslan Baima, Asmin Katemmadee and Seree Waemamu on charges of illegally having in possession and using explosives and attempted arson.

They have not been apprehended and remain fugitives.

With the court's approval, the three have been additionally charged with murder and attempted murder.
