Three men were arrested with 138,000 methamphetamine pills and 4kg of crystal methamphetamine, or ice, in Chon Buri province on Sunday, police said.
Pol Lt Gen Thanet Phingmuangngam, the Region 2 Provincial Police chief, said the three were detained at a checkpoint at an intersection in tambon Map Pong in Phanthong district of Chon Buri, where the vehicles, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota van, were stopped for a search.
Drugs were were found in both vehicles.
The three were identified as Atthapol Kaewsuksri, 26, Sakchai Ketprathum, 30, and Nathawut Boonrod, 30.
The drugs had been delivered from Mae Chan district of Chiang Rai province and were destined for clients in Phanthong and Phanat Nikhom districts of Chon Buri, Pol Lt Gen Thanet said.
