PHUKET — Customs officers at Phuket international airport on Monday night arrested an Indonesian man with 5.2kg of cocaine in his possession.

Jemani Ikhsan, 63, was arrested after customs officials examined his two suitcases and found the drugs hidden in three hardback books and five rolls of paper on his arrival on Silk Air flight MI758 from Singapore at 7.20pm Monday.

The officials said the cocaine had been brought from Bogota, Colombia, in South America.
