The Yala Court has approved police warrants for the arrest of five more suspects in connection with the car bomb at Central Festival Samui in Surat Thani on April 10.
Pol Lt Gen Prawut Thawornsiri, the police spokesman, identified the five as Asmin Katemmadee, 27, of Muang district, Pattani; Hakim Dolo, 31, of Muang district, Pattani; Muhamadyaki Salae, 34, of Bannang Sata district, Yala; Abdulloh Samae, 25, of Yaring district, Pattani; and Ammar Waedaramae, 27, of Yaring district, Pattani.
Initial reports said the five were involved in the incident by driving the three vehicles used in the bombing to Koh Samui, he said.
The Yala Court earlier issued a warrant for the arrest of Abdulroning Dueramae, alias Bang Yi, 51, a used car dealer in Yala province and owner of the three vehicles.
