Man arrested for planting six homemade bombs in capital

Six homemade bombs were found at three spots in eastern Bangkok early yesterday. Police have arrested a suspect who claims he laid them for political reasons.

Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung, national police chief Priewpan Damapong, and Metropolitan Police Division 1 chief Wichai Sangprapai inspected the three locations after the bombs were noticed in early dawn.
