Frustrated car thieves torch vehicle

Car thieves in Samut Prakan burned a pickup truck with an anti-theft device on Sunday after they had failed to start its engine, reports said.

The stolen vehicle belonged to Montree Kotekam, 41, who lives in Samut Prakan's Muang district.

Police said Mr Montree parked his truck in front of his house on Saturday night and woke up at around 5am to find his house had been broken into and burglarized. The thieves got away with some valuable items including the key to his vehicle.

Question - Are there no competent English language editors to check the integrity of the language in articles like this before the newspaper releases them?

And this on the same day that the BKP ran an article on English language being a hindrance to Thailand's position in ASEAN - Disgraceful!
