Cops ask House for Khanchit

Police will ask the House of Representatives to allow Democrat Party MP Khanchit Thapsuwan to meet investigators for questioning in relation to a murder charge.

Police spokesman Piya Uthayo said Provincial Police Region 7 has sent a letter to the Royal Thai Police Office asking it to submit the request to the House.

The Samut Sakhon Court on Dec 26 last year issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr Khanchit in connection with the murder of Provincial Administration Organisation chairman Udon Kraiwatnussorn, who was shot dead at a petrol station in Muang district of Samut Sakhon on Dec 25.

Arrest him. What are they waiting for. The evidence according to BP is that video and witness' confirmed his identity. If he hides behind his MP status Abhisit should throw him out of the party. That is unless he is proud of him. I believe the Dems were calling on the PT to do that not so long ago. Abhisit was also criticizing the PT for not having a provision to do so in their charter. Well Mark, is it in your charter?

The BP headline: "Cops ask house for Khanchit" is seen as nothing more than going through the motions... Depending on what one interprets a motion to be - that is.
