Supoj ruled to be 'unusually rich'

Suspended permanent secretary for transport Supoj Saplom has been found by a subcommittee of the National Anti-Corruption Commission to be unusually wealthy, NACC spokesman Klanarong Chanthik said on Thursday.

He said Mr Supoj would be summonsed to hear the charge of being unusually wealthy on Jan 23 at the NACC office in Nonthaburi.

The subcommittee had examined 36 statements of assets and liabilities filed with the NACC by Mr Supoj before his house was robbed on Nov 12 last year, and three others filed after the robbery. It found that some of Mr Supoj's assets and liabilities were worth much more than he declared.

WOW ! that's a big amount of cash for his daughter to out in her purse / handbag, or did she use a forklift truck to transport it. Opp's I forgot, daddy is in charge of transport. Maybe he helps transport other things to. Maybe he has friends at Thai customs to he helps to transport things to. Maybe he thinks everyone is as stupid as him to believe his cock and bull story to. Maybe he is so deep in it he believes his his own cock and bull story. Hey, and let's not forget he is innocent until proven guilty or is that the other way around ? And maybe his daughters soon to be husband can show evidence of the bank withdrawal from his bank account of so much money for the marriage pay off ?

Thailand needs to change we all know but remember the changes are not coming from outside or foreigners living in the country the changes have to come from inside from the Thai’s themselves!

Please explain to me why the NACC subcommittee needs to consider this ? He made false declarations,lied about the amount of money stashed at his home AND where the money came from !!!
Arrest him NOW before he flee the country and joins Thaksin in Dubai !!!

Amazing coincidence that he is not a red shirt and occupies a position PT would like to appoint one of their own to. Good work by Thaksin's ex-bro-in-law, the new police chief, in nabbing this perp. Maybe he will be able to arrest Thaksin too one of these days.
