Police are continuing to gather evidence to identify the owner of a suitcase full of weapons found on a bus at Mor Chit 2 Bus Terminal on Sunday but admit they have made little progress.
Police investigators at Muang Nakhon Ratchaburi station questioned Nattaporn Hasakornburi, 20, a hostess on the bus, who said she could remember the identity of the suspect when he asked her to keep his suitcase.
Mrs Nattaporn told police the suspect was a man in his 30s, wearing a pair of jeans and had short curly hair. He was between 170-175 cm tall. The suspect left the suitcase on the ground beside the bus before going to buy a bus ticket and returned. Another man came to talk to him and the suspect asked her to put his suitcase in the luggage compartment. He then got on the bus and sat on seat No.8D.
