MP's nephew on gun rap in Farut case

- +

Police have pressed criminal charges against a nephew of Uthai Thani MP Chada Thaised, for firing a gun during the suspected road rage shooting that killed the MP's son, Farut, in Nakhon Ratchasima province last month.

Pol Col Boonsong Atworanant, deputy chief of Nakhon Ratchasima police, said Suriya Thaised was suspected of shooting at a Toyota pickup truck with a 9mm pistol on Khao Yai-Wang Nam Khieo Road in Ban Khlong Dua village of tambon Moo Si in Pak Chong district on the night of Aug 20.

He was a passenger in Farut's vehicle when an exchange of gunfire, supposedly set off by a road rage incident, took place between the occupants of Farut's vehicle and the Toyota pickup, killing Farut.
