Two arrested, crystal meth seized

SURAT THANI – Police on Thursday arrested two suspects who sped away from a checkpoint and found a kilogramme of crystal methamphetamine, or ya ice, in their vehicle.

Police said they set up a regular checkpoint on Thursday morning at Surat Thani's Ban Na San district.

The suspects did not stop their car when they reached the checkpoint.
