A policeman who allegedly rammed his drug-stuffed vehicle through a checkpoint in Lampang on Monday and fired at pursuing officers surrendered to police yesterday.

Pol Snr Sgt Maj Manas Seupho, a traffic police officer from Pracha Chuen police station in Bangkok, was brought to the Metropolitan Police Bureau (MPB) for a press briefing yesterday.

The story goes around and around. So sad, he was persuaded to join the network. Did some-one hold a gun to his head? A poor traffic policeman who happens to own millions of baht worth of motorcars and oh, I don't know, I wonder what his house looks like or the multitude of properties that he has acquired? Confiscate everything, lock him up for years. A committee to investigate his bosses? Oh police investigating police, yeah that works. Just dismiss everyone from that police station as a warning to the whole police department that says "You have corrupt police operating then everybody gets punished". Time to stamp this out.

it is time that the authorities came down very hard on policemen who dramatically fail to follow the principles of the law. This guy should be forced to spend the rest of his days locked in a room with the poor souls who's lives have been destroyed by his corrupt, disgusting and disgraceful ways.

Let's make sure we investigate his boss too, at least, for poor leadership.

The only crime in Thailand that seems to draw general condemnation is the crime of getting caught .

Did none of his workmates notice his somewhat extravagant taste in automobiles ?
