Sorayuth case heads to OAG

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) yesterday forwarded the embezzlement case concerning news anchor Sorayuth Suthassanachinda to the Office of the Attorney-General (OAG).

If it finds the charges against the presenter to be worth pursuing, the OAG will send the file to the court.

On Sept 20, the NACC said it had found evidence of wrongdoing by Sorayuth. The NACC indicted Sorayuth, an executive of the Rai Som Company, for allegedly bilking state-owned Mcot Plc of 138 million baht for surplus advertising time when his company was hired to produce two news programmes for Modernine TV several years ago.
