CHIANG RAI - Police on Friday seized 398,000 methamphetamine pills, with an estimated street value of 119.4 million baht, and arrested three major drug dealer suspects.
Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung, who is in charge of national security, held a press briefing to announce the arrest.
Mr Chalerm said the three men were named Montree Katawuth, Somchai Chaicharoenkhun and Anantasit Kongchaiwalayaphan. All of them were members of the Lisu hill tribe in northern Thailand.
