A Malaysian couple have been jailed by a Melbourne court for spending over $100,000 (3.2m baht) using fake credit cards.
Kenny Lim and his wife Sock Lim, both aged 21, were part of an international crime syndicate which used stolen credit card details to create counterfeit cards, the Victorian County Court heard on Thursday.
The couple used false cards to purchase and redeem about $114,500 of Coles supermarket gift cards from December 2010 to January 2012, for which they were paid up to 12% of the face value, Sky News Australia reports.
