Bike gang fires shots in hospital

A young woman was seriously wounded after a motorcycle gang staged a shootout at a Bangkok hospital in an attempt to finish off an injured rival.

About 10 gang members opened fire at dawn Saturday inside Rama 2 Hospital in Bang Khun Thian district, shattering glass windows and causing alarm among the patients.

Since the shooting took place during the early morning when not many people were around, no one was injured in the first incident.

Gangs fighting, gangs shooting at multiple locations - one has to ask 'where are the police'. Maybe if the police came out of their offices, started patrolling the city, and started to enforce the laws we would have a lot less of this.

I never thought I would live to see the day when Thai's kill each other everyday with reckless abandon. What has happened to Thailand? Drugs and guns are rife, easily appropriated by the uneducated youth with nothing better to do with their lives. Parents? Do these kids have any and why aren't the parents cracking down or have they given up already? Innocent people have a good chance to get killed in Thailand these days just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Shooting up a hospital should be worth at least 20 years in prison. Crime is getting tougher and more severe. Too bad the police aren't

No values, no consequences, no moral compass... a society in an advanced state of disintegration. The fish stinks from the head!

Policeman kills his wife"by accident" with ak47 or whatever, hiso kids killing policeman or just average citizen while drunk driving, somebody killed 1500 in drug war, somebody else killed 95 red shirts, nobody sits in prison.
Then why young people should be scared of punishment, special if daddy has money. In Thailand everything is "maipenrai"as long it's not about losing face;great culture. As long Thailand has a culture and attitude like that,as long Thailand will be a 3rd world country

No leadership ever held accountable, laws are irregularly enforced, corruption prevails, life is cheap and the people learn from their leaders. Welcome to Thailand; bring your own first aid kit.

Death sentence for possesing a firearm without a licence, and five years in prison for carrying a knife. They need to get this under control. And start punishing the parents who let their kinds run wild at night.

People will do this kind of thing because they dont have to fear the police .Even if they did somehow manage to get caught they could get out of it easily .
