Police foil inter-school brawl

Police have arrested 53 vocational students after they were found carrying weapons on buses in Bangkok’s Suan Luang district on Thursday. They were on their way to attack rival students, according to a report on Matichon website.

The 53 were students from Bangkok College of Industrial Technology and Bangkapi Technology College. They were arrested on Srinakarin Road near Pattanakarn Intersection, said Pol Col Yingyos Thepjamnong, deputy commander of Metropolitan Police Division 4.

The officer said police received an intelligence report that students from each institute planned to carry weapons and ride public buses to look for a fight with their rivals somewhere in the Prawet area in the afternoon.

Picked up by their parents so they can repeat the same action. Why aren't the parents named and shamed in public, so they lose their face and have to accept responsibility for their children? Why not?
