Illegal beauty clinics busted

Police raided three illegal beauty clinics in Bangkok’s Huai Khwang district for allegedly using banned chemical substances such as glutathione, which they claimed could whiten and tone faces.

Two of the three clinics identified as A.Y.P. Aunyapong Clinic and Doctor Somchai Clinic were located on Prachasongkrah Road and  Poonnapat Clinic on Pracharatbampen Road, said Pasit Sakdanarong, adviser to Public Health Minister Pradit Sintawanarong.

He said the raids were carried out by officers of the Consumer Protection Police Division after consumers complained the clinics provided uncertified services such as botox, glutathione and filler injections for clients without receiving product certification from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

"Police arrested at least six people, including five clinic owners and a worker". At least? Can't count to7 or 10? No, it suggests they arrested more, but allowed some to walk away freely, we all know why. Doctor Somchai Clinic is a BIG company with many branches in BKK and nationwide. Unlikely they will be prosecuted.

I cannot understand it either, most Thia's dislike the "falang" yet they want to look like one.
