B800m drug bust in Chiang Rai

Police seized 2.2 million methamphetamine tablets and 47kg of crystal meth, with a total estimated street value of 800 million baht, from two groups of drug dealers in Chiang Rai province on Friday.

    This is impressive - more than the usual daily proof that current drug policy is a total failure at massive cost to Thai society, and the profit of corrupt official and mafia scum.
