Sword wielding street thieves arrested

BANGKOK - Two teenage thieves who used a sword to attack and rob people in Pracha Uthit area have been arrested, police announced on Thursday.

Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit Thupkrachang, the city police chief, announced the arrest of Nawin Chuenchob, 18, and his accomplice, a minor aged 16 (name withheld), at the Bangkok Metropolitan Police headquarters.

“These youths drove around on a motorcycle and attacked their victims with a samurai-style sword and fled  with their valuables,” Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit told reporters.

    These teenagers should be at school. Most crimes happening here involves teenagers. I wonder what could Thailand be in the future...

    " Both suspects have previous criminal records" And how long until they are back on the street again.Thailand needs to hold people accountabe for their actions, or a thief has no reason to stop.
