Oros gang leader arrested

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN – The leader and his close aide of the notorious Oros drug gang were arrested Hua Hin on Thursday.

Gang leader Patchawat Boonmard, alias Tee Oros, and Worapong Plubplalek, or Pik Oros, were busted in their vehicle parked near a market in the resort town, said Pol Maj Gen Thanet Sunthorasook, commander of the Prachuap Khiri Khan police force.

He said the two criminals had fled to Hua Hin because they had several outstanding arrest warrants in Bangkok. They had been in the area for about a week, hiding in a rented house, he added.

Good bust, definitely beats busting some poorly informed, poorly paid mule carrying someone else's gear through an airport.
D1 makes a good point too, why not go even higher up the chain now

What about arresting whoever was funding them? Or is the person untouchable?
