Controversial monk Phra Wirapol Sukphol, better known as Luang Pu Nen Kham Chattiko, had recently bought another 35 vehicles, Department of Special Investigation (DSI) chief Tarit Pengdith said on Thursday.
The DSI on Wednesday revealed that the jet-setting monk recently placed an order for 22 Mercedes-Benz cars costing about 95 million baht.
Mr Tarit said he also placed orders for another 35 vehicles - sedans and vans of several brands and models - with different dealers. They were all bought in the name of Phra Wirapol.
