Headless bodies found off Koh Larn

Pattaya police said Thursday they are investigating the discovery of two unidentified decapitated bodies of a man and a woman in the sea near Koh Sak, along with an abandoned yacht nearby. 

Police were alerted by the locals to the discoveries at about 4pm. The body of a male was found in the sea about 500 metres off Koh Sak. The man was believed to have been dead for 10-15 days, said Pol Lt Supan Sophee, investigator at Pattaya police station. He was wearing a blue shirt with embroidered Thai wording that can be translated as “60th anniversary of Namsin Insurance” and red underwear. There were two tattoos on his left thigh, one a chicken and another a tiger. The dead woman's body was retrieved from the sea about one nautical mile from the male body. She was wearing a brown long-sleeved T-shirt and had an eagle tattoo on her left leg. Police could not yet determine the age and nationalities of the deceased.
