Korn calls for SEC to rethink Yingluck ruling

Shinawatra shares row shadows Pheu Thai No.1

Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij has demanded the Securities and Exchange Commission clarify within one week the legal position of Pheu Thai No.1 list candidate Yingluck Shinawatra.

Ms Yingluck, the sister of exiled former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, has been accused of falsely reporting share transactions in companies she allegedly held as a proxy of Thaksin .

Mr Korn is urging the SEC to reconsider the legality of Ms Yingluck's shares report in the asset concealment case against Thaksin.

    here comes the mudslinging, i m surprised that its coming from korn...expected better from him. Why bring all this up only just before the elections? are the DEMS planning to steel another election???? The public will not let this happen

    It also said Korn "urged" them to. With the small amount of actual words quoted from Korn, goodness knows how exactly it was said.

    When a Cabinet Minister "demands" that an independent body do something. isn't that government interference and meddling in the independent bodies work?
