Pongsapat awaits ONCB's green light

Justice minister has yet to approve resignation

Justice Minister Pracha Promnok says he has not yet approved Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen's resignation as secretary-general of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB).

Pheu Thai Party's candidate for Bangkok governor has submitted a letter of resignation but it has not taken effect, Pol Gen Pracha said.

    How is it even conceivable that a resignation, any one's resignation from any organisation, not be legal? The thought processes of Thai politicians are something else to behold.
