The Bangkok Election Commission has revalidated the candidacy of number 14, Pratheep Watcharachokkasem, in the Bangkok governor election after receiving evidence showing that he did vote in the general election in 2011.
The commission earlier disqualified him during the examination of candidates' qualifications, saying he did not appear to have voted in the general election.
Bangkok Election Commission chairman Pol Lt General Thaweesak Tuchinda said after reviewing evidence and finding Mr Pratheep's signature on the part of the ballot kept by the election commission, it was agreed that he had cast his vote and was qualified to run for the post of Bangkok governor.
