Early count has Sukhumbhand leading

MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra of the opposition Democrat Party was ahead of his Pheu Thai rival Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen in an early vote count in the Bangkok governor election released at 4.23pm.

From early results of the vote count from all districts as of 4.23pm, MR Sukhumbhand was leading with 402,915 votes, followed by Pol Gen Pongsapat with 339,929 votes or 45% to 39%.
