Police nab 3 election law violators

Police arrested three people who broke the election law in Sunday's Bangkok governor election, deputy metropolitan police chief Adul Narongsak said.

Pol Maj-Gen Adul, the metropolitan police spokesman, identified the three as Somdej Thiansuwan, 57, Praneet Wacharin, 34, and Ngamnet Daengdee, 26.

Mr Somdej tore up the voting ballot at polling unit No 13 in Soi Matanusorn in Bang Kholaem district and Ms Praneet did likewise at polling unit No 16 at Thai Acheewasueksa School in Soi Charan Sanitwong 71 in Bang Phlat district.

What about the redshirts in Don Mueang who was standing at the entrance to the votingbooths scaring voters and demanding to know what they were going to vote ? What about all the posters for nr.9 still left all around my village ? Guess the police just decided to ignore all that . . . .
