Many Thais are backing Germany

While holders Spain are favourites to retain the European title, many journalists and fans here believe Germany will lift the trophy on July 1.
Former football writer Komkrit Napalai predicted that Germany and Spain will again meet in the final but this time it will be Germany who prosper.
Germany are stronger with the likes of striker Mario Gomez and midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, said Komkrit, now an official at Thai Premier League side Osotspa M-150.
