No Thai people were hurt in the terrorist attack on at Istanbul's Ataturk airport early Wednesday morning, Foreign Ministry Information Department director-general Sek Wannamethee said.

Mr Sek said the Foreign Ministry had contacted the Thai embassy in Ankara and received confirmation that no Thai citizens were affected in the suicide bombing and shooting, which left at least 32 people dead and 147 injured.
The Thai embassy was closely following the situation, he added.
