Passengers using three airlines out of Suvarnabhumi airport on Tuesday faced a hassle after their check-in system went down.

Sirote Duangratana, general manager of Suvarnabhumi airport, said the malfunction delayed travellers checking in at Royal Jordanian Airlines, Binam Bangladesh Airlines and Malaysia Airlines at 3.20pm.

The system was restored 20 minutes later, he added.

The three airlines partly shared the same check-in system for their passengers at the airport.

The airport chief said other systems of the airport were not affected by the problem.
